The lighting design scheme of the Zedwell hotel was completed by Elektra Lighting in 2020 and has been carefully considered around the fact that the space receives no natural daylight. Working closely with architectural design practice Neri&Hu, Elektra chose 2700K colour temperatures for all luminaries to create a warm and welcoming ambience, harmonising with the hues of natural wood within the interior design.
Our linear LD36 has been used as a surface mounted downlight, fixed between ceiling slats allowing the ambient space to be filled with soft, wide floods of light. Chosen for its flexibility and minimal style, LD10238’s were mounted on custom telescopic rods to aid flexibility during installation whilst final M&E services were completed. For accent lighting of signage, our subtle LD97, surface mounted downlight with tight glare control was the ideal solution for eye-level viewing.
